Design of the New ICMA Learning Lab Website

The ICMA Learning Lab website is a revenue generating resource that sells professional development courses to ICMA members and non-members in the profession of local government. The ICMA Learning Lab is a combination of two separate websites where the shopping experience happens on Shopify while the learning experience happens on Litmos.

Project Contributions
I contributed to the project in the following ways:
Designed prototypes for the splash page to help guide users between the shopping and learning experiences.
Created the custom tags and taxonomy for the filters in Shopify to help customers sort and filter through the available products.
Conducted usability testing with ICMA members to gather feedback on both the shopping and learning experiences.
Customized the layout and populated the widgets for the home page and content pages.
Customized the templates with mockups for the search and product detail pages to improve the usability.
Created content areas to cross-promote content between the ICMA Learning Lab and the other five ICMA websites in the ICMA Ecosystem.
Customized the theme with settings for color, typography and layout.
